New Beginnings

We had our New Beginnings today. The girls did great! We just had each girl talk about one of the eight values and what she had done for that value. We introduced the girls who were coming in and then each of the young women as well.

Wide Horizons and Valentines

Every year we go to Wide Horizons Care Center (They take care of mentally challenged adults) and help them make valentines for their loved ones. They are so much fun to be with and to enjoy!

We went Ice Skating!

Color coded The Living Christ!

I had a bunch of The Living Christ sheets and I gave them to the girls and then I gave the color pencils and let them figure out which of the eight virtues went for the passages. No right or wrong way of interpreting. Most of them did really well. It was really fun for me too.

Magnet boards

We made magnet boards out of shiny metal trays we got at the dollar store. We decorated them to go in the girls lockers or their rooms. They were so much fun!

Getting to know you

It was our ym turn to plan, we did a getting to know you activity.
